Without the creative work of legendary Blues musicians like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, BB King and many others, the music we love today - be it Blues, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap or Country - would not exist as we know it. We need to honor those music pioneers by remembering their stories and struggles.

It’s Blues Jam Time again! Join us this time as we celebrate the final stop of the Gary Hutchison 70th Birthday Tour! The fun starts at 1:00pm at The Bakery District on Sunday the 19th. It has all been building up to this one! I consider it the big one because it’s an open jam, and I and my fellow blues lovers get to participate on stage with him. Gary makes everyone look good. You’re the man Gary, Happy Birthday Blues Man Hutchison!!! Participating as a member of his audience is almost as much FUN! Come One, Come All!

The re-started Blues Jam was held Sunday, November 27 at The Bakery District, and since the weather was so nice, we held it outside on the patio. Gary Hutchison and Tim Martin were the hosts (along with the Blues Society) and the following musicians came out to lend their talents: Drums Noah Riggs; Brock Reather; Allan King; Albert Smith, Jr.; Danny Watson and Dan Peterson. Bass Guitar: Dan Peterson; Matt White and Tim Martin Guitar and vocals: Gary Hutchison; Brett Rains; austin Calvillo, Danny Burns. Harp: Ralph Hert; Mark McGee and Gar;y Hutchison.
